What Dustav knows about your business — facts learned from your own replies, each with the email it came from.

What Dustav knows about your business — learned from what you tell people.

Dustav doesn't quiz you about your business. It reads the replies you send. When you tell a customer "wheel lessons are $95 an hour", or "our clay comes from Tuckahoe", or "we don't do custom dinnerware sets — try Millbrook Ceramics", that sentence becomes a fact — written down once, used in every draft from then on, and never asked about again.

You see it happen

A fact is never learned behind your back. The sent email's receipt shows it, under what Dustav reconciled: 📝 noted — "Wheel lessons are $95 an hour." Tell a later customer "it's $110 now" and the fact is updated — never a second, contradicting one beside it.

What counts as a fact

Things a new hire would need to know, that will still be true next month. Every fact is one of six kinds, shown on its card:

Kind For example
Price "Wheel lessons are $95 an hour."
Policy "Deposits are non-refundable inside 7 days."
Provider "Our clay comes from Tuckahoe."
Person "Priya teaches the Saturday classes."
Practice "We don't do custom dinnerware sets."
Place "Parking is behind the studio, off Mill Lane."

What isn't a fact: a plan ("thinking of a raku night in the spring"), a one-off event ("Dana picked up her order Tuesday"), or detail that only matters to one thread. Those stay in the email where they belong.

The whole knowledge base, visible. Each fact wears its kind, the email it was learned from (the ✉ opens it), and how long it's been on file. Filter by kind, search everything, and Forget any fact right on its card — with an Undo if you didn't mean it.

You can also tell Dustav something directly in chat — "remember that Thursdays are our day off" — and it lands here too. Correct anything the same way: "that's wrong — we moved in March."
