One bell that lights only when Dustav has something to tell you — and nothing leaves the app unless you say so.
The bell lights when Dustav has something to tell you — and most days it's dark.
Above the tabs sits a single bell, and its philosophy is restraint. The tab badges count work (new cards, open to-dos, dates to book); the bell lights only when Dustav has something to tell you — a workflow that broke mid-collect, something it hit and couldn't finish, a reminder firing. It's a dot, never a number.
The feed
Open the bell and each notice points at the place it's about. You resolve it there — fix the workflow, book the date — and the notice clears itself, so the list empties as you work instead of becoming a second inbox.
Nothing leaves the app unless you say so
- Email notifications are off by default.
- Push arrives only on a device you've allowed.
- Quiet hours hold notices until morning rather than dropping them, and close-together events merge into one specific note instead of a drumroll of buzzes.
- The "something broke and needs you" notices always show in the app; everything else is opt-in — per kind, per channel, and per workflow (Ping me on a workflow's card).
The switches live in Settings, and behind the gear at the top of the notification feed.
