Paperwork

What arrives — receipts, invoices and contracts, filed and read as Dustav reads your mail.

What arrives — receipts, invoices and contracts, filed as Dustav reads them.

When the reader meets a receipt, an invoice, a contract or an order sheet, it lands in Paperwork — bound to the email it came from, with the PDFs attached and readable. No more "it's somewhere in my email": the reading is the filing. Photos you share with Dustav get their own view. Every row links back to its source email, and anything filed by mistake is one click to remove (with an Undo).

Dustav reads what it files

A PDF's contents, a Word document's text, a spreadsheet's cell values, a poster embedded in the body of an email — Dustav reads them, so a filed order sheet informs the reply it drafts and the workflow rows it collects, not just a thumbnail in a list. Search on the Paperwork tab runs over what Dustav read out of each document, not just its name.

Paperwork vs. documents

Paperwork is what arrives; Documents is what the business keeps. A filed receipt's source of truth is the email it came from, still in your Gmail — Paperwork is the view, never a second copy you have to keep in sync. When a file is something you'll want to send again (a supplier's price list you quote from), keep it as a document.
